The Tifblue Blueberry is a classic Southern "rabbiteye" variety, widely considered one of the most reliable and productive blueberries for home gardens. It produces massive crops of sweet, light-blue berries that ripen in mid-to-late summer. Beyond the fruit, it has great ornamental value: dainty white bell-shaped flowers cover the bush in spring, and the leathery green leaves turn a stunning deep red or burgundy in the fall. It is exceptionally tough, handling the heat and humidity of the South better than most other varieties.
