A must-have native perennial featuring fragrant, vanilla-scented clusters of rose-pink flowers over slender, upright stems from mid to late summer. Unlike common milkweed, it stays neatly clumped and does not aggressively spread by runners. Essential host plant for Monarch butterfly caterpillars and a top nectar source for pollinators. Prefers moist soil but adapts well to average garden beds.
