Bonfire is a compact dwarf purple-leaf peach. White-fleshed fruit streaked with red ripens late Summer. Fruits are cling stone with firm fruit used for canning, pickling, and pies. Can be eaten fresh but rubbery. Fruit turns red when cooked and makes an attractive pie. A stunning landscape specimen with showy, pink double flowers. Can be grown in a patio pot.
