A dense, fast-growing evergreen shrub that offers a more managed, tighter form of the traditional English Laurel. It features large, glossy, pointy dark green leaves that maintain their rich color all winter long. In mid-spring, it flushes with highly aromatic upright spikes of showy white flowers, which give way to ornamental black berries that local songbirds love. Because it takes pruning exceptionally well and grows vigorously, it makes a phenomenal, quick-growing privacy screen or formal hedge.
