The Blue Rug Juniper is a fast-growing, low-lying, and dense evergreen shrub that forms an excellent, low-maintenance ground cover. Its attractive silver-blue foliage deepens to a purple-bronze color in winter. Highly resistant to common diseases, it should be planted in well-drained, acidic soil and full sun, spaced 4-6 feet apart to create dense coverage that effectively suppresses weeds.
